Photography is often viewed as a solo pursuit, but some of the most successful photographers will tell you that growth rarely happens in isolation. While practicing on your own is important, participating in workshops can accelerate your learning, expand your professional network, and help you create a portfolio that attracts clients.

When shooting images for a new brand effort must be put into defining the brand and even giving it human characteristics and seeing which way they can be inflected best on the product.

Nobody is perfect, we all make mistakes.  As photographers, we are expected to be both an artist and a service to the public.  There’s always going to be a chance that your client is going to be so difficult, uncooperative, or possibly vindictive if they feel as though you’re not up to their expectations for whatever reason. 

It is for this reason that every professional photographer should have their own liability insurance to protect themselves from being taken advantage of.
