In Rick's words.....

I discovered in high school that I had a knack for anticipating the right moment to take sports action pictures, and began shooting what I like to call "reactive photography" at football games and wrestling meets. This became a passion for me as I went on to become a Canadian Football League game day photographer and had the opportunity to cover amateur wrestling at the highest levels, the Commonwealth Championships, Canada Cups and Olympic Trials. I also went on to cover rugby, volleyball, lacrosse and at the Arnold Sports Festival, professional armwrestling.

My career as a fitness/physique photographer for all intents and purposes started in 1990 when several competitors at the Festival City Championships in Stratford ON asked me to photograph them on and backstage....and so the adventure began! I've photographed literally thousands of athletes in the fitness industry, from first timers to seasoned professionals, with a special emphasis on the female physique. I have shot at National Physique Committee and Ontario Physique Association events.

All of the experience I've acquired has formed my own set of skills, particularly suited to help capture you at your best, create lasting photographic memories for you.......and to give you the best studio experience possible.
